In this first episode of FLOT, the ‘Monster’ appears in the form of a watery despair: an underwater symphony of babbling, labyrinthine motifs, evoking at a subconscious level, the meanderings of a soul that has reached rock bottom. A vision of the point at which the very core and ravages of existence are laid bare, the ‘Monster’ is in the depths of the waters in which we are already sailing - it's a question of swimming alongside it.
The current gathers pace, its gushing intensity swells until it fully absorbs us. Signs appear, revealing their songs of seduction. This affects the melodies, while the instruments try to find their way through the waves. A voice rises up.
